Last week, we celebrated Washington's Birthday, also known as Presidents' Day. Since 1971, the federal holiday has been observed each year on the third Monday in February. It has come to be known as Presidents' Day due to its proximity to Lincoln's Birthday and has commonly become a day the American public notes its Presidents. Through the National Archives' DocsTeach, our online tool for teaching with documents, we invite you to explore thousands of primary resources and teaching activities related to the Presidents throughout American history. Additional information can be found here.

Stay tuned for regular updates from the Nixon Library Education and Public Programs Team.

Please feel free to contact us at NixonEducation@nara.gov if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

The Nixon Library Education and Public Programs Team
