Archival Update
December 9, 2025
Yorba Linda, CA
The Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum has finished digitizing the President’s Office Files collection, which is now available in full in the National Archives Catalog. The 48,650 pages contain both marked and unmarked news summaries, the President's Meeting File, and other records detailing the President's schedule and activities. They add to the 19,059 pages of the President's Handwriting series released earlier this year.
About the Files
The President's Office Files consist of materials drawn together by the Special Files Unit from several administrative subdivisions within the White House Office. Materials containing the President's handwriting or of a particularly sensitive nature were sent by deputies to the President to the Staff Secretary's Office for disposition and storage. It is the handwriting and sensitive papers sent to the Staff Secretary that now comprise much of the President's Office Files.
