Dear Educators,

On November 2, 2015, the Nixon Library closed its museum galleries to the public to complete a re-design of the permanent and temporary exhibition gallery space and associated improvements at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum. As most of you know, the gallery facilities have not been substantially updated since 1990.

The re-designed permanent galleries will introduce the public to new and engaging displays; challenge the visitors’ critical thinking and historical perspective of President Nixon’s public and private life; and excite and enhance with new interactive exhibitions and the latest in audio visual technology. The new Nixon Library will interest a broad range of visitors, including a younger, tech savvy millennial audience.

Good news! We are pleased to resume a scheduling program for educational tours for the 2016-2017 school year. Beginning on April 1, 2016, the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum will accept reservations for educational tours of the new Nixon Library beginning on Tuesday, November 1, 2016.
