Celebrating the Return of the Vietnam POWs.



President Nixon hosted a briefing and welcome reception at the State Department for the returning POWs on May 24, 1973. At the same time Mrs. Nixon, helped by her daughters Tricia Nixon Cox and Julie Nixon Eisenhower, hosted a tea in the Diplomatic Reception Room for the family of returning Vietnam POWs.
