The Nixon Presidential Library in Yorba Linda, California, situated on nine acres in southern California just 15 minutes from Disneyland.
During the renovation of the museum galleries the Nixon Library campus is open to visitors. Tours of the President's Birthplace, the memorial sites of President and Mrs. Nixon, the First Lady's Gardens, the Presidential Helicopter and the White House East Room are open at half the price of regular admission.
On display through November 15, 2015 is a temporary special exhibit, Discovery and Recovery: Preserving Iraqi Jewish Heritage, which details the dramatic recovery of historic materials relating to the Jewish community in Iraq from a flooded basement in Saddam Hussein's intelligence headquarters, and the National Archives' ongoing work in support of U.S. Government efforts to preserve these materials.
Cameras are allowed in the museum, but we ask that you do not use tripods, selfie sticks, or flash.
There are four wheelchairs available for use on a first-come first-serve basis.
- Monday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- The Museum is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day,
and New Years Day.
