August 14, 2009 --Senator George McGovern, the 1972 Democratic Party nominee for president, will visit the Library to discuss his new biography of Abraham Lincoln, a part of the American Presidents series edited by Arthur Schlesinger and Sean Wilentz. Meet Senator McGovern and learn about American history firsthand.
