Ambassadors Will Discuss South Korean–American Relations at Nixon Library on January 25
January 8, 2008—Ambassador Lee Tae-sik of the Republic of Korea and Ambassador Alexander Vershbow of the United States will discuss Korean-American trade, security on the Korean peninsula, and other issues important to Korean-American relations in a public dialogue at the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda at 1 p.m. on January 25.
The program at the Nixon Library, sponsored by the independent Washington-based Korea Economic Institute, is part of a multi-city tour and is in its seventeenth year. The event will be co-sponsored by the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum and by the Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace Foundation.
The ambassadors will hold a 45 minute media availability immediately after their public appearance. Media groups wishing to speak with them during this period should contact Paul Musgrave at the Nixon Library at (714) 983-9119.
