• Most of the Textual Materials are considered Presidential Records and are subject to the provisions of the Presidential Recordings and Materials Preservation Act (PRMPA).
  
  
• The Textual Materials collection includes some Federal Records that are subject to re-review under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

Mandatory Review Requests

Re-review of withdrawn Presidential textual materials may be requested through the mandatory review declassification provisions of Executive Order 12958, as amended.
